Our Story

Sometimes the best things in life are the simplest things ... like gathering with family and friends for food and fellowship. Years ago, here in the Mississippi countryside, our family only prepared the Old Waverly Farm Ham for special occasions. It was a tradition in our family.

We believe that some things just can’t be replaced ... like the fact that we use high quality, lean pork and real wood for smoking to perfection. Now, Old Waverly Farm is pleased to offer our family’s favorite boneless smoked ham for your family’s dinner table or as a holiday gift. After just one taste, you’ll understand why we’ve guarded this secret recipe for so long. We hope that you'll enjoy our ham as much as we do.

Ham Our Hams

Our Boneless Ham is produced here in Mississippi It is fully cooked, made with fresh, lean pork and the George Bryan Family Recipe spices. We slow-cook our ham, then smoke it with real hickory wood, so it may be served as-is or warmed in an oven.

Packed ham & spice glaze mix

Each 6 pound ham will be accompanied by our own Old Waverly Farm Glaze Mix. This dry mixture of spices can be combined with soda, orange juice or other liquid, then basted over the ham to add a delicious glaze.

Order early and share one with your family!

This is our own family tradition at Old Waverly Farm.

  • 1 bottle Old Waverly Glaze Mix
  • 1 8oz can sliced peaches in 100% juice, drained. Reserve 1/4 juice for glaze
  • 3 tablespoons stone ground mustard

Bake ham according to directions. While ham is baking, mix 1/4 cup peach juice and the mustard to 1 bottle of Old Waverly Glaze mix. Stir well and refrigerate.

When ham has reached temperature, turn oven up to 425°F. Remove cover from ham, arrange the drained peach slices around the ham and begin basting the ham with glaze. Baste ham every 10 minutes for 30 minutes (use app. 1/3 of glaze mix with each application).

Remove from oven and let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
